well........i made my husband sit on a chair in the spare room and hold a round lamp i have from ikea.

i took 3 bracketed shots and picked the best one .. changed the colour temp to better suit the moon over the yellow glow from the lamp

then i got out a pic of the moon i took about 8 months ago.... photoshopped it over the lamp

photoshopped the cable from the lamp coming out... made sure that the moon was reflected in the window... and uhh.. that's about it

Excellent! just thought of a way to speed up the process, if this would work. but next time get the hubby to put the power cord down his sleeve in in behind his tee shirt/jumper. that way you have one less thing to PS out?

cheers. the cable for the lamp is not long enough really. it was plugged into a wheel thing at his feet. the photoshopping was grand enough cos there wasn't all sorts of mad detail to have to sort

It's one light on the background (dark grey wall) with a 90⁰ reflector and a florescent blue colour correcting gel attached. In PP it's simply a matter of using a hue saturation layer to change the blue colour on the background. It's a little more difficult if she is wearing blue. So i'll probably pick up a set of artistic gels later in the week.
