I always think vdv is the player harry doesn't know what to do with. He is a class act but spurs don't have a striker he can link up with. When spurs played 442 their strikers looked good and the whole team lokked a lot more dangerous. Don't know if adebeyor will be the answer

I think they're the one team in the CL this year Barca will fear the most

Good first half from us, very pleased here and Dzeko what an amazing second goal, that's 6 in 5 games for this season already which is pretty fantastic.

Nasri, well how long has he been playing for us?

Unbelievable stuff, loving it, and yea that was the city fans with the ironic "Boring Boring City" chants, were at it against Bolton too.

Don't think they have enough up front to score 3 goals. Hard to see City not getting another one on the break as Spurs push up aswell.

Lol at all the people writing off Dzeko last season as a waste of money. There was only a handful of us on here that were confident he'd come good.

That is just utterly shocking defending. Look at the Spurs defenders, only Dawson tracks the run back and is a good foot behind. The other two are cutting out either to play offside or stop an imagined cutback. Defending 101 failed.

City passing it around nicely, but man, these three goals are easy to defend against.

Did you say the same when Utd beat Spurs during the week or were you salivating over Utds play?

City have been very very impressive.

And yet when people said this after the united goals there were lambasted for not giving united enough credit...

I do agree tho. Spurs are poor... KUN!!!!

That was a bit special by Aguero. Sucks in Dawson, then even though he gets back, Aguero still skins him for pace. Dawson, you just got owned.

Have Kompany, Dzeko and Aguero as captain in fantasy football. Finally some luck.

Nasri has three assists - he only got one all last season for Arsenal. I have a feeling Man City could destroy a few teams like this - there attack is amazing and they are great finishers most importantly.

Actually, I was in a bar in Boston chatting about how I thought the scoreline flattered United's overall performance. City have of course been impressive, you gotta take advantage of the weaknesses of the other team, it's simply the point that Spurs have really been extremely poor in defence. All bar the 2nd goal were easily defendable by a half decent defence, which Spurs don't have.

That's Modric gone for sure anyway

The vast vast majority of goals can be pin pointed to defensive mistakes.

Spurs have been poor, but City have been devastatingly good too which is all that canbe asked of them.

Is Dzeko the best finisher in the premiership? He never seems to miss. I know two goals today were open goals but he had to stretch for the first one which can make it tricky. I could never understand why Balotelli was ahead of him at the end of last season.

    Unluckly Defoe

That's of course true, but there is a range between incredible defending being beaten and woeful defending being beaten. Spurs today have been woeful in defence, basic errors that would see most teams who can create any chances beat them.

I'm not saying that you can ask more of City, job done, 3 points, move on. I'm simply pointing out, this Spurs defence has been shockingly poor, by an objective and a relative to themselves last season standard.

Exactly. How many teams do we see come up against bad defending and fail to take their chances? Aguero's goal was a moment of genius and the passing for the others were excellent.

Can't believe how much the Tottenham fans cheered when they made it 4-1. :D

Wouldn't be overly worried about conceding there. The commentators are making a big deal of it but City are just coasting along at this stage. Game is long dead.
