Hello all! Please ensure that you are posting a new thread or question in the appropriate forum. The Feedback forum is overwhelmed with questions that are having to be moved elsewhere. If you need help to verify your account contact hello@boards.ie
Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi all,

My first collection of poetry is soon to be released, and I'm looking to get it out to as wide an audience as possible, as I'm afraid my work will be read by little more than my friends and associates...

I've got a considerable distance to go before I'd consider my work as poetry, but I'm sure I'll get there eventually with the right feedback and criticism. If not, I'll find a new outlet.

In this regard, the following page will have updates on the collection, and anyone who has interest in poetry, or knows people that do, I'd appreciate your support. By supporting, I mean "following" the page, and encouraging other interested parties to do the same. Sample pieces, details of standalone publications etc will be put up over the coming months, and possibly a few videos of public performances (though I'm a tad too nervous to undertake such a venture at present):

The more people following the page, the more people that will read my work, and in turn, offer feedback, helping me to improve.

Also, if anyone with a background in reviewing is willing to review the collection, I'd be interested in hearing from you.

On a final note, are moderators happy enough for us to post pieces of our work here? If so, I'd be happy to put up a piece for criticism in the future.

    Thanks in advance.

Certainly, that's what the forum is for. Linking to blogs and facebook is not what the forum is for.

Best of luck with your poetry book. Love to know how well it sells and also if a living can be made from such publications. I have writen a few poems and am starting to get into it. Also, how do you get published?
