    That's it. Every fúcking week I say it to myself "Jesus, betting on Messi and Ronaldo to score is the easiest way to make money" and yet I rarely do it.

    People will say "but there's no value". You don't have to look for value when they always win. So from now on, each week I will place a variety of bets that can only include the following scenarios:
    • Lionel Messi scoring
    • Cristiano Ronaldo scoring
    • Barcelona winning
    • Real Madrid winning
    Should have started last night, but now I'm sick of not betting on these two.

    €5.00 - Barcelona 4-0 and Messi anytime @ 12/1
    €20.00 - Lionel Messi to score 2 or more @ 13/8
    €10.00 - Lionel Messi to score 3 or more @ 6/1
    €10.00 - Barcelona -2 @ 10/11

    Don't know a lot about Spanish football but it sounds like a surefire way to lose money. Simplistic systems like this approach randomness because they don't take into account value & circumstances.

    As well as that, high-profile teams/player tend to be particularly bad value, as bookies look to offset public money. No more high-profile than those guys. If you're going for such a simple system, a better one would actually be opposing Barca/Madrid/Ronaldo/Messi, but probably still wouldn't be profitable.

    €10.00 - Lionel Messi to score 3 or more @ 6/1 was available at 12/1

    Your giving yourself a harder task if your taking half the odds available
    Pretty sure both were with bet365
