Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi all.

Ok have a few heifers to sell in the next few weeks and my query is tests.

Our heifers are spring calves from 2010 and tb tested in 15 oct 2010. We got the letter from Dept and test is 16 oct 2011, and we are beentested for tb and brucellosis.

So the question is. Are the heifers "in test" or do i need to get them retested before i sell?

    Cheers

if over 18 months need to be blooded .. will be ok for tb if sold before the 15 october BUT sometimes if you are listed for a test the dept wont let you do a private test , ring your vet

oh so maybe over the net 6weeks till test read i should throw some meal into hem. They have just had grass,

Do prices tend to fall coming into second half of October

Once you get notified of your test you will not be allowed to do a private test, not even for calves:mad:.

The animals are in test for TB but out of test for brucellosis so you will have to blood them before sale

Well i was chatting to the vet last night. Told him Dept sent out notice for the tb test (before 16 Oct)

He siad he can do the bloods and tb anytime before then. Is this right? I just like to let off a few heifers while prices are reasonable
