Yeah I ordered LA Noire with standard delivery and I still got it the day before release.

Gamestop are doing their trade in 3 games get FIFA 12 for €3 deal, so i'm going to get rid of Tiger Woods 12, Fight Night Champion and GTA IV and avail of that.

My guess however is that it wont be the Ultimate Edition, and I could use those packs...

Yea I just looked at the list there, I could trade in Black Ops, Mortal Kombat and COD MW2 and get it for E3.

But like you thought it says

This is valid on new releases beginning the 26th August. Offer ends close of business 30th September. Applies to purchase of standard edition only

Maybe we could get lucky and they'd give us a ultimate edition by accident??

I cant justify paying E50 for it when I can basically get it for E3 since I'm broke!

I'm not being a slave, but clearly want the new one. I haven't played Fifa 11 since the demo for 12 came out. Think Its a really good improvement on last years and also all the players updated and stuff. Its the one game I know I'll be playing for the whole year. I will definitely get my moneys worth and happy to get it.

Hahaha, cheers for that. Gave me a good laugh.

Reasons why I am buying FIFA 12:
- I have played it and I absolutely love it. For me, it's much better than FIFA 11.
- I will play it for almost a year.
- As I posted above, it's going to cost me €3 and 3 games I never play anymore.

NOT Reasons why I am buying FIFA 12:
- 12 is a bigger number than 11.
- All the other kids are doing it.
- The class TV ad with a giant Wayne Rooney. Aww cool, giant Wayne Rooney.

The situation with Championship Manager 01/02 is quite different to FIFA, the biggest difference is probably its on the PC so its relatively straightforward to download something and update the game to present day squads. On the Xbox and PS3 the edit functions are limited and if you play an old FIFA you will notice the population of online players is near deserted and very possibly laggy.

Although I agree that if you are struggling to afford it maybe take a skip every other year :pac:

I seen a few people here saying they ordered a few games of gamestop and got the game early.

I ordered for fifa this year and picked the express option. This is my first time ordering a game from online, normally go into the shop and buy.

Just wondering did any of ye order from them for last year (fifa 11) and did ye get it early?

Im just board out of my tree and cant wait to get my hands on the game so if I could be getting it early all the better!

My order is still processing so it will be Wednesday now at the earliest Il get it. A day behind Deus ex already :mad:

Yea I'm in the same boat. Hmmmmmmmmm

Cuase I just saw on cex website that I can sell some of my games for good money, better than doing the E3 gamestop deal. So I'll pop into town and get the money for that then I'll prob just get it in Tesco, fingers crossed there's a good deal going!

What games will Gamestop take as part of their trade in 3 games offer for FIFA 12?

I have Tiger Woods 2012 and Fight Night Champion that I never play any more and I'm sure I could dig out another new(ish) release too.

This is probably a silly question, but can I use a mix of games from multiple platforms? For example, I have Uncharted 2 on PS3 and Tiger Woods 2012 and Fight Night Champion on Xbox 360 that I'll part with. The 3 games don't have to be from the same console I guess?
