I'll be buying it in Tesco's tonight and be back here before half 12 all going well with a price . I think FIFA 11 sold for €49.99 at midnight last year, BUT the following day it had been reduced to €39 (i think). If that happens you just bring your FIFA 12 and receipt back in to get the difference back.

Oooh Dilemma..

Should i just buy it for 39 in Tesco in the morn or trade in Cod:Black Ops and The saboteur in Gamestop. I wonder which will work out as cheaper.

You only get something like €14 credit for COD BLOPS and probably only a few quid for the sabatour in gamestop... so depends really. If you still play COD, dont bother.

Yeah true true. And gamsetop never seem to have a decent release day price on Fifa.

Ive never really settled into Black Ops.

Yep €44.95 for both PS3 and Xbox360 versions. Just got mine now, there was a queue in the Maynooth store aswell.

Just walked down Patrick St in Cork on the way to work. Game was still closed. HMV were as well but had signs advertising 44.99 in the window. Gamestop was open and UE was 55 and Standard was marked down to 44.98 with a sale sticker, so they've obviously just price matched HMV across the road. So they got my purchase just cause they were open and seemingly as cheap as elsewhere.

Thanks to all the price spotters yesterday and last night, as it made it easy for me to formulate my stategy for purchase this morning ... ie don't pay more than 45!
