Dont ask why but i want to try connecting a cat5 line from one router to another router to use the wifi on the second router. Does anyone know if this will work? any configuration needed? cat5 line into internet port or lan port?

Well, why not try either way for yourself? Best way to know what works.
    LAN port anyway.

Yes, it sometimes works (depends on the device), you're stopping it routing and turning it into an access point. You've got to disable some things, login and disable DHCP, uPnP and the firewall, then just use the lan ports only, tape over the internet one.

You need to ensure its not transmitting on the same wireless channel as the first otherwise they can interfere with one another, if one is channel 1, make the other channel 11. You can even give the new wireless network the same SSID and encryption key and your devices will roam from one to the other.

That last one cleared up a few things. Finally got this thing working and got my wireless access. Thanks to everyone for the help.
