    One is a colaiste, hence C and the other is English speaking.

    Nope, though you'd easily think so. A=Coláiste, c=English school, and b=(of all places) Bruff. They were all run by the FCJs.

    It shut, as far as I remember it stopped accepting new pupils in 2000 and just finished out the leaving cert cycle with the students enrolled by then.
    It was really only opened as an emergency measure to deal with the number of Northside students who didn't receive school offers under the old(and even more cronyism/dodgy then the current) Secondary entry system

    Does anyone know about Sion Hill College, Rockfordmanor secondary school and New Park School in South Dublin? Any non-fee paying schools you could advice in Blackrock area?

    You'd be better off asking in the Dublin City or Dublin South fora. This is the Limerick section of Boards.ie.
