    I'm buying a pair of Plantronics BackBeat 903+ stereo bluetooth headphones.

    From expansys.ie:

    Item: €47.93
    21% VAT: €11.74
    Standard (4 Day) Shipping: €1.99
    Total: €67.66

    From expansys.com:

    Item: £39.16
    20% VAT: £9.43
    Express (1-2 Day) Shipping: £7.99
    Total: £56.58
    Total: €63.92

    €3.74 difference (dearer for ROI). Small, but annoying that it should be different at all...

    Hmmm, I wonder who I'll order from?

    I think you need to buy a calculator too! :p

    Using your figures above
    .ie = 47.93 + 11.74 + 1.99 = €61.66
    .com = £39.16 + £9.43 + £7.99 = £56.58 x the real rate of excahnge assuming you are paying by credit card (1.152 as of 7am) = €65.18

    .ie cheaper by €3.52

    or as said above on offer at amazon at £44.29 (€51) and free delvery.

    If this is the one, the link should be in a sticky thread to help the afflicted:

    As far as Expansys is concerned, they've been around for years and have always been too expensive in my opinion. They should be a lot more competitive given their buying power, but they're not.

    Hmmm...

    I didn't calculate when I posted - I just copied the figures verbatim from the screen shot I made at the time:

    ExpansysieBackBeatOrder.jpg

    My goof. Don't know why the expansys figures were wrong.

    So pardon my ignorance - xe.com isn't to be trusted?

    Got my headset and they're great, btw...
