New dit email with ios

    now that dit email is on gmail , I can no longer get it through the mail app on my iPod touch. Does anyone know the correct settings to access it through the mail app on ios?

    I just figured it out!

    Add "Other" Mail Account

    Address is (Student ID) @mydit.ie

    Incomng Mail Server
    Host Name: imap.gmail.com
    User name: (Student ID) @mydit.ie
    Password: Your Password

    Outgoing Mail Server
    SMTP: smtp.gmail.com

    EDIT: Wait, it won't allow sending.... I'll keep trying.. Sorry

    I got it all working. Set it up with exchange instead. Use m.google.com as the server.

    Send works, as does push.
    Email address, user name and password are as you described
