My father is particularly fond of this song,
it goes along the lines of -
" The Furey man from us is gone,
........and the piper played The road to Doolin "

Anyone know of any CDs/compilations with this on it ?

No, but I heard it at Marrinans at the Willie Clancy. A lot of the singers mightn't be familiar with this place here. Or the internet either!

I found an MP3 on Napster and Amazon.co.uk (available for download), recorded by a group called The Celtic Folk, on a 2008 album called Rainbow Flight. Never heard the
song before (never heard of The Celtic Folk, either), so, I don't know how it compares to what you have heard before, but it is a lovely song.
