UCD social science rejection

Hello All, I've just been rejected as a mature student for the full time social science degree and I was directed towards a part-time housing and community studies degree delivered in UCD. I'm wondering if anyone has heard of it or come across it? There's not too much info on the UCD website about it. Cheers James
