Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi,

I am waiting for my ds-2019 to arrive before I book my embassy interview. Im hoping to book it for sometime in the last two weeks of September. Is this realistic to get if I book end of this week/next week?

I had my ds2019 sent to me on a monday (from nyc) and applied for the interview that day. the soonest they could have me in was 8-9 days. So I received my ds2019 on the thursday of the same week it was sent and then the following friday I had my interview. Get the EARLIEST possible interview. I got there at 8am and was still waiting for 2 hrs. BUT I was only asked one question before I got approved!

Also I called to make the interview at 2euro a min, and was on hold for 10 mins before I just hung up and called the 16e per call line and was answered straight away!!! So be warned!

Thanks for that, heard the call was expensive alright. Is the 16euro per call number listed on the embassy site too? Hopefully my ds-2019 will arrive in the post today :)

Also I am waiting until my ds-2019 arrives because I was told you need the sevis number on it when booking?

I got my sevis number and all relevent info emailed to me before then sent the ds2019 in the post! So it saved me about 2wks of waiting!

The number is listed on the embassy website.
