    Just a few questions

When is the best time to apply this?

And will it give the lawn a surge of grass like the spring feed.

My garden now 16months old,was looking hungry in July so applied a feed, still nice and green but showing early signs of looking off colour

September/October is best time for autumn feed. If you use an actual 'autumn' feed it will not have much nitrogen so the grass will not grow vigorously like a spring/summer feed. Instead, the roots are nourished making it strong to withstand the winter weather. Aldi and Lidl will be doing the feed soon.
