I have 3 thermometers and they ALL say 21c. ME's latest obs say Dublin Airport, about 5 km away is 19c.
I've always thought that somewhere like the Phoenix Park or the Botanic Garden would give a more accurate reading for the city.
btw the car thermometer also says 21c so make that 4 !!

Beautiful evening, the wind has died down and there's not a cloud in the sky, still 18.7C! Wasn't expecting much from today so a nice surprise

Unusually the two Donegal stations are the mildest in the country right now, both still at 18C

Very dark, windy and drops of rain in west Wicklow earlier this evening. I thought the clouds were very strange looking today.

I'm not sure how accurate they are, but some NRA automatic stations are reporting over 20ºC already, while the automatic station at UCD is also over 20ºC.

Heinous weather. Not raining but not dry, the damp just hangs in the air.

Why though why? Can someone please explain why we have this miserable gloom down here?

22c at the Airport but where I'm am about 5km away its "only" 20c.
Yesterday I was 2c warmer than the airport, today I'm 2c cooler! odd?

I think its all down the the warm air pushing over the sea and so creating a low fog type moisture which inevitably hangs over the coasts but burns away inland as the sun hits the ground. :(

A full day of unbroken sunshine here, probably the single best day of the year when I think about it. Donegal the hottest place in the country again today, whats this all about :D

Started off horrible here in cork, it brightened up slightly in the late afternoon. Starting to rain again. Is the good weather arriving at some point ?
