North Dublin, the last of the sun disappeared and now there are spots of rain, gusts and a reddish sky. Seems like something is about to happen. How are people in the SW right now?

Heavy showers in Sligo in the last half hour. Winds steady 4-5, but getting gusty and building. 16 degrees - we don't get that on a summer's day!
I love Weather, but I hope I still have a greenhouse in the morning!

Wind has died right back in the last hour, and showers have cleared. It's kind of spooky! :-)
Off to bed, and here's hoping my little world is intact when morning comes.

It's just blowy here in my part of Kilkenny city. I've seen far worse. The wind is actually quite warm and no rain. Slept with the window open last night and it was still close. I hope other people have survived the night as nicely.

Seems as windy as carmen here on the east side of Galway.
But I heard quite a lot of loud banging tiles on my roof last night, i didnt hear any of that back when Carmen hit, so it might be stronger here where I am(sort of on a hill).
My sunflowers got blown away anyway too. So leaves dont do quite well in the gusts!

    EDIT:
Thought I might add that I saw an old house on the oranmore coast road, with its roof half blown off!

12.5C, The wind is noisy out and still strong.
On a note I think the experience of a storm is lessened to an extent since everyone has Double Glazed windows nowadays which drastically reduces the noise, remember the days when the windows would creak and you were genuinely afraid the window would cave in, those were the days!
