What a morning that was, easily the heaviest band of rain thats crossed us this year, absolutely torrential between 9.00 and 9.45. A mix of showers, sunshine and strong winds since then

Extremely heavy rain ! Traffic at standstill as noone can see where they are going even with wipers on full speed ! 10 minutes of this so far. Wow it's torrential ! (Donegal / Tyrone border)

Well, oddly I haven't seen a drop of rain all day and I've been up since 8am, blue skies and sunshine all evening

In Galway all morning and it was cloudy but no rain, driving back to Letterkenny there was lots of standing water on the roads and some minor flooding in fields but still didnt see a drop!
