Landline to asterisk

what do i need to hook landline phone to asterisk. for now all i need to do is track all incoming calls. i dont need to ring out just monitor and possible record all incoming calls. what is best way to do this??

you need,

1x asterisk server
1x Landline PSTN
1x ATA with and FXO and FXS port e.g. http://www.voipon.co.uk/grandstream-handytone-503-p-620.html
1x PSTN phone

Land-line goes into the FXO port and your phone plugs into the FXS port + about 1 hour to get it all setup.
