Dolan's on the dock road do a nice breakfast, not too pricey either compared to some of the other places around town.

The Horse and Hound on Mulgrave St. do an amazing and tasty full irish for €8.00, and free coffee refills too, many times i haven't even had room for the toast! :D

Oh! I second Xsiborg. You CAN'T go wrong with that place. Great little courtyard area for when the weather's nice and the staff are lovely too!

Can't go wrong with "Let's do coffee" above in the old Krups facility. Food is GREAT and staff and service are fantastic. Good value for money and parking is provided. Gets my vote anyway! 

€8 is a bit expensive these days imho.

Brunch on Upper William Street is good. Smyths isn't bad either. Wild Onion is different, quirky.

Coming in from Shannon, in Condell rd, turn up by the quays at the dock road roundabout, either park on Lwr Cecil St or the multi-story car park. Into Mint for your brekkie and coffee and away you go. Couldnt be easier.

Oh for Christ's sake you're all slipping...........

    For Shame!

How can there be nearly two pages of discussion on breakfast in Limerick for Americans and nobody has mentioned the Wild Onion?

On High Street. Beside the market.

And if the coffee doesn't liven up jet lagged Americans.......Ruth will!

You will have to be minted to go in there as well. Got charged 12 euro for 2 bacon 2 sausages 2 eggs coffee and brown bread a few weeks ago. I got the same for 5.50 in John St.

If its a fry you want i'm surprised that nobody has mentioned Supermac's.

The place on the Ennis Road do a seriously good breakfast.

Sausages, Rashers, Eggs, Pudding, Hash Brown, Beans, Toast, OJ and Tea or Coffee for less than €7.

Well worth it and you can get that take away too.

For me though i would go with the lads and take them down towards the market. At least the place is buzzing on a Saturday morning. I pass the onion last Saturday at 9:30am and there wasn't a seat in the house to be had.
