Do you think he might be a narcissist? I mean that seriously. He's all the symptoms of one.

. He should pay with his huge pension.

They all bad as each-other,many haven't reach the age of 60 and are entitled to the following-
    http://www.independent.ie/opinion/analysis/tds-and-senators-hand-us-bill-of-euro14m-for-their-golden-handshake-2811878.html
former Enterprise Minister Batt O'Keeffe is the top pension beneficiary, receiving a total TD's pay-off of €266,228, including a tax-free pension lump sum of €180,828.

Former Taoisigh Bertie Ahern and Brian Cowen and former ministers Mary Harney, Noel Dempsey, Dermot Ahern and Michael Woods -- all of whom sat at Cabinet for 10 years or more and therefore are eligible for the maximum level of benefits -- will receive additional pension payments of between €40,000 and €100,000 a year on top of what is listed here.

Brian Cowen, who resigned as FF leader earlier this year and who did not stand again in the recent election, is receiving a total pay-off for his days as a TD of €236,464. He too will also receive a substantial ministerial pension every year.
Former Justice Minister Dermot Ahern is to receive a total TD's package worth €243,231 while Noel Dempsey will get €236,464.
Former Health Minister Mary Harney, who controversially kept her cabinet seat despite losing her party, is set to get a package worth €235,231, including her lump sum of €158,730 and an annual TD's pension of €49,934.

Former Environment Minister Dick Roche is to receive a golden handshake of €254,310 including a tax-free lump sum of €172,438. Former minister Pat Carey, who famously stuffed a number of State boards in his final days in office, is receiving a package of €192,431.

Journal has big breakdown on pensions-

What are irish negligence laws like?

I was reading up a bit on negligence and it says that firstly there must be a duty of care. 2. A breach of this duty 3 a loss or damage due to this breach 4. A link between the loss or damage due to the breach of care.

Bertie as taoiseach was in a position to care for this country. There was a breach when in 2000 he ignored a report from the ERSI that our country was heading for ruins. This really became apperant in 2006 when after a verbal warning of a property crash he told people to commit suicide. And no corrective action was taken after this warning. The loss or damage is on us - the irish people with the complete collaspe of the economy there will be devastating effects for many, many people which could have been avoided if things were done correctly. We simply would not be in as deep in sh1t today if things were not done for the benefit of a select few - him and his developer mates.

Surely there's no better contender for negligence than bertie.

I thought the days of doing something that is against our best interests and conscience just to annoy the British were long gone, but obviously not.

Liam, we're talking about a country that continually elected a corrupt cadre of buffons in Fianna Fail time and time and time again.

This shows that that a majority of the country don't even know what their best interest is!

I don't believe the majority ever voted for FF. In fact, I don't think the majority of those who even voted have ever done it.

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

He is an absolute turd of a human being. It sickens me to think of how much these people are being paid annually AFTER what they have done to the country.

Bloody sod now is throwing a huge party at Croke park - in the same week he complains he can't afford his staff and pay his bills.

The Former Taoiseach Bertie Ahern will celebrate his 60th birthday next week with a lavish party at Croke Park.
Hundreds are expected to attend, but it is still not known who is on the guest list.
It is understood the invitations are done in the style of matchday tickets for Croke Park.

Anyone that attends that, ought to be ashamed of themselves.

The man does not deserve to have his portrait hung in the Dail beside much better behaved leaders of our state!

He's an utter disgrace and a stain on Irish history.

I know it's fashionable to slag politicians these days and especially those of the FF persuasion, but it must be said that Bertie is a particularly distasteful individual. A snake with no redeeming qualities whatsoever.

In fairness, he gives Mario Rosenstock a lot of quality material for Gift Grub... :D

Hitler showed his hand after he conned the Germans. Bertie Ahern is Hitler.

Yeah it'll be interesting to see who shows their face at that gig. Personally I'd rather be seen at Muammar Gadaffis birthday party. Would be fun to go down there on the night and watch all the rats trying to dodge the photographers on their way in!

Any protest planned for Friday at croker?
Bertie is the main man behind Ireland crashing so badly. Lets not miss this opportunity to let him know how much of an utter dirty maggotie knacker this scumbag is.

And please note: I said protest not riot. That maggot is not worth ending up in mountjoy for.

Wouldn't it be gas if the nation was to abandon what they're at next friday to head up to croker. Won't hold my breath for such a protest.

    Pulled of politics.ie:
    Happy Birthday to you,
    Happy Birthday to you,
    You fcuked up our country,
    And we fcuking hate you.
