Transferring Favourites

    Hi all, just wondering if you could help me. I currently have a Garmin 265WT, but I will some day have to replace it, but I don't want to lose any of my favourites have about 200 due to my job of being a delivery driver. Is there anyway of saving them to a file on my computer and then transferring them to another Garmin. Thanks

    1. Back up favourites on your old SatNav to your pc.

    2. Move the backup file to the equivalent folder on your new Garmin.

    3. Switch off and back on your new machine (Is it called rebooting if its on a SatNav?). Your favourites file (current.gpx) should be updated now and you can delete the backup file if you want.
