Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Maggots!! - This may be an unusual one but does any of ye ever have maggots in your slatted house or milkng parlour?....small white ones like little grubs? Parlour has a slatted tank near it but i dont think they come from it as they're in other places too... sometimes you could find them under planks of timber etc (anywhere there's cover foe them). Parlour is hosed out twice daily etc. They have a little egg or cocoon that hatches out. Its always this time of year too..

    Yes!

    We used to milk cows at home and this time every year, early in the morning, the little feckers would start coming up out of the drain in the pit and start moving straight up the parlour. i couldn't tell where their ultimate destination was because we would hose them back down the drain.
    They used to freak me out big time because they always came from the same place, same time in the day, same week or two in the year and always headed in the same direction!!

    Well i'm not on my own so. Some people i ask look at me with this look like they never saw a Maggot! Is there a spray or something i could get to stop them. They are tough buckeens... I've poured alot of things on them and they just laugh at it!!!!:D

    they aren't too fond of a shake of hydrosan Plus or similar
