C&C Wasps

Would appreciate your thoughts on the pics below. Idea is they are supposed to show wasps struggling to survive the harsh weather coming, but let me know what you see.

I'm not a professional but I feel that they might look nicer in colour, rather than B&W, show the contrasting yellows and blacks.
Out of the lot, my top three would be #1, #4 and #5. Gives a good view of the wasps face (if that what it is) nibbling its little jaws on something (honey, me thinks)

i would agree with wanting to see them in colour with the contrasting colours.
the pictures 3,4 & 5 look a little underexposed.
i do like them though!

I too would like the colours, and they all look far too dark to me, and the contrast is very low, quite muddy.
