Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I'm not interested in putting out Nitrogen this time of year, but was thinking of putting out a few bags of 0-7-30 on some ground. Is it a waste?

What are your P K soil levels like?

Not a waste especially if you have clover for N. Watch out for grass tetany though especially if you have suckler cows grazing where you spread it. K locks up magnesium, making the cows more prone to grass tetany from now on.

If the seat's wet, sit on yer hat, a cool head is better than a wet ar5e.

According to my soil tests, I was advised to spread 3 bags 0-7-30/acre in this particular field in Sept. It was reseeded a year ago and got 3 bags 10-10-20 this time last year. Took a cut of silage off it in june (only CAN), but It didn't get any slurry after. It's looking a bit brown in places :( A nice bit of clover in it. It's been grazed with last years weanlings and will be until housing.
