    I got my pack too:D

I'm trying to sort out my timetable and select my subjets, anyone any idea how to do this?

    thanks:)

Same happened to me. When I clicked yes, it said "Thanks for completing the survey". The guide on how to register online says it's a short survey, but I didn't think it was that short! :pac:

Haha, if only all the surveys were that easy! :pac:

this is what I'm getting in the subject selection:

No subjects are currently loaded for registration, either you have completed your registration or no qualification registration has taken place.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,325 ✭✭✭Omega28

Should my fees be €2038 if I'm not the oldest child in my family currently attending college? I thought it was €2000 for the oldest and €1500 for anyone else from the same family who attends college at the same time as the eldest?

Yes. I assumed the username was all of my last name, the first letter of my first name and a random 2 digit number, but I realised that my username left out the last letter of my surname. Make sure yours isn't the same.

Usernames seem to be first 6 letters of your surname, first letter of your first name and at least one number. Fairly handy if your surname is 6 letters long or less :p

Not for me. My surname is 6 letters long (O' Brien) but only the "obrie" part is in the username. So not as handy as you might think. :p

It is but right now you have to pay the 2000. You claim the 500 back in taxes at the end of the year.

When do we have to register by?

Registration closes on the 16th September. DCU will allow registration after this but a late fine will apply not sure if it applies if you haven't received the registration pack.

Ouch, mine's all up in the air because I've no word from the grant office yet, and the registration process is headachey, to say the least!
From the letter and the website, you get the impression that if you haven't paid the fees, you aren't registered, and that's that until you pay. Ended up ringing Finance, who told me I was registered after all!
Still don't know if I can pick up my student card or not, but I'm not ringing Registry again, I've been on to them 3 times already :p

There there Benjamin, a grant is only a symbol of how impoverished you are really, it's probably best to be without. Unless you become impoverished without it. Then probably not best to be without. HAPPY COLLEGE DAYS! :D

Let there be no panic, I rang this morning, the woman I was speaking to said they are in the post and will receive them tomorrow more than likely!!

I received a letter 3 weeks ago saying the amount of money that i'm going to receive on the grant.. and that I present that letter to registry to save me paying the 2000 in fees!.. Will I have to go up to Dublin to show them this form or can I just wait till the 18th when I actually move up!?

In your case I would recommend calling the Finance Office and explaining about your grant, they may ask you to fax it or show it to them when you move up.

Anyone know if there's a way to change payment method? Apparently they DO want to pay by laser.
