    Anyone know why the apartments have been boarded up on the entrance to st brigids portarlington?

    Taken by the bank............"certain people" tried to squat in them..........all copper etc ripped out and taken.........they were flooded...............garda were in and out..........up for sale in the next major auction of stuff.............major eye sore.

    I believe they were taken and already sold. The owner put scum in the ones in St Brigids Square and a better crowd in other ones as they were beside his own house.

    Those apartments have had some serious scum in them over the last 18 months and nothing was done by the owner........he didn't care once he got his few quid.

    I love karma.

    true - but it depends how long the apartments are boarded up for and if they're left to rot.

    They are due to be sold, but there is no rental market in town any more really.

    Fire sale so whatever they can get.........also a lot of work to be done after the flooding and theft of the piping.
