Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I do this form filling for a friend of mine - You can't claim for anything that's dead or sold as far as I know. After that I have sent in the forms up to a year after weaning and he got paid - have also got forms with calves listed that were only born a couple of months ago.

It gets confusing as one sheet often has calves born over a 12 month span.

I'm not saying what I'm doing is right or wrong but he's been getting away with it thus far anyway. this guy does the tasks correctly, he's just a horrible book-keeper.

to sum up I wouldn't stress baout the delay.

you get paid on dead calfs as long as you dispose of calf properly .

I stand corrected, is that only if the blue sheet is issued after meal feeding or weaning date?

I do all mine online but if they do query it (because of delay etc) just be honest about the fact that you do the booking for him and he is only vague in dates of starting etc. It's not the worst bit to muck up; Not weaning before selling would be far worse. Just make sure they are kept the minimum of weeks before weaning with crunch, it's eight I think?

Thanks for advice...I presume you mean you would only get paid on a calf that died after weaning....hardly on a young calf that died in springtime?
