Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I searched for a thread on this already, couldn't find it. If anyone can find it please post a link- thanks!

Anyhow, I thought that there was plans to bring in standard credit card sized driving licenses - anyone know if this has been shelved now or what? Its a real pain carrying one around with me - and its in bits now too!

They've been planning this since 1990. And it's no closer :)

Yes, it's a real pain carrying it around, but sin é

I've decided to leave my new licence in my car. I previously carried it around for those times when I'd be driving another car, but the old one was completely wrecked, so I've decided feck it. Generally if you're stopped and don't have it, the Garda will ask you to produce anyway.

I know the second I leave it in the car it will be broken into!

I'm sure it's being phased in for new licences and renewals from either 2012 or 2013

I had a credit card type liscence in Australia in 1989. Our out-dated liscence is embarrasing, especially while renting a car abroad.
