Boards.ie has teamed up with Xbox in anticipation of the arrival of Gears of War 3; The most spectacular conclusion to one of the most memorable and celebrated sagas in video games!



Developed by Epic Games exclusively for Xbox 360, Gears of War 3 will be available in Ireland from Tuesday September 20th but you can be one of the first to experience the game, at an exclusive launch party in Dublin on September 19th. This invite only event will be held at the The Workmans Club, Wellington Quay, Dublin.

We have 5 pairs of tickets to give away to attend this exclusive event. Not only that but the you could be one of the lucky winners that also participate in a live Gears of War battle on the night as part of the boards team.

To be in with a chance to win a pair of tickets to this exclusive launch party, simply post which which is your favourite of the Carmine Family to be entered into the draw.

Sure he was green, they called him Rook, but he believed in the cause... And was capable of saying his last words without a pair of lungs (eroded away by riftworm acid). Man was a hero!

Benjamin Carmine for me, mostly because if he where real I'd say we would have "Ben jamin" most of the time while playing GOW3... Bang, joke of the thread!!

On a side note, I'd give my left leg, a pork chop and my wife to go to this.. I've already penciled in 2 days off work on the 20th along with a mate for a serious GOW 3 session!!
