Horse riding lessons Galway?

    Can anyone recommend any other cheap riding schools in Galway city?

    Was quoted €25 for a group riding lesson...it was only €15 in Ballinalsoe.

    I've never ridden in Ballinasloe, but there is one school I've only heard good things about.

    I have ridden at Rockmount Riding Centre, 6km outside the city on the way to Claregalway. Brian, the instructor, is the best I've had so far, and from what I remember a group lesson is €15 for a child and €20 for an adult, though those prices may have changed since I was last there.

    Definitely worth it, though.

    It also depends what you want. Do you just want to improve your riding for hacking, or are you looking to compete in a certain sport? There are some instructors which are better for certain things.
