    Plummer is getting this.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,174 ✭✭✭✭kmart6

    Glad Plummer got it!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 34,788 ✭✭✭✭krudler

Plummer and Sydow are two legends

edit, ah, wanted Nolte to get it, but Plummer getting it is really more of a "you're a fantastic actor and we kinda neglected you before this" award, for 82 he still has the voice of a god, him and Morgan Freeman should narrate everything

Happy for Plummer but Nick Nolte should've had it in the bag!

They should let Plumber write the jokes and present next year, would be a significant improvement on tonight.

I started humming "The hills are alive" while he was making his way to the stage. :pac: What a great, dignified speech. Just let him take over the presenting.

That's what I was thinking. Slumped back in the chair, eating crisps. Nice.

Also I disagree with what they said about Harry Potter - it shouldn't win just because it's the last HP movie.

It would have been funny had Nolte got his grumpy face on, but he was laughing at the time so it fell flat. As a comedian Crystal should really be able to think on the spot and come up with a better joke.
