Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Drying off cows

    Hi all i'm drying off some cows due to illness, high cell etc, have 2 cows that got mastits in same quater few times over last 10 wks,used tetra delta tubes,no antibiotic, keep getting it same quater each time,any ideas on what to use to clear up permanently,all replies welcome

    Larry doesn't care that its one cow

    Are you a suckler? from a dairy point of view we have found that repeat offenders never clear up properly

    get your vet to do a sensitivity test , dont bother with the pg one ... did it last year and changed tubes and all is dandy now

    What tubes were you using and what tubes did you change over to?

    had been using synulox tubes i now use terrexine and had been using bovaclox extra dry cow tubes , i now use umbro red or leo red.. we where saying at the time sure terrexine and leo red are out years so it is back to basics

    no. just the dry cow tubes this time last year every scc test was over 400,000:rolleyes: now they very rarely go over 250,000 mostly under 200,000 all summer but has gone up a bit with cows going stale and fresh cows coming in. I also got the acr's serviced
