Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Whats the best free logo design tool online or as downloadable software?

Tried using GIMP and AAA but I'm a novice. Would like something that generates professional looking logos from spec.

Just pay someone. It's cheaper and quicker than trying to do it yourself.

There are loads of sites that have pre-made logos that you can purchase for a small fee. You can usually get them altered (colours, words etc) to suit - should be no more than €25-35.

You could try the likes of http://www.getafreelancer.com/ to design the logo, I got one for about €20.

Have to agree with the notion of if you want to have something that looks professional, have a professional do it. That's not to say you can't DIY, just bare in mind that people eat with their eyes.

if you want something that has impact, looks professional and represents your brand values in a single visual then a professional is the only way to go.

Have a look through this article about what a logo should be and why DIY is not the best option:
