Shopping in Omagh

    I was going to take a spin up to do a bit of shopping tomorrow, what's the deal with shopping here? Is there a good variety of shops?

    Or is there any alternative town nearby?

    There is a good variety of shops - see here for map and list of shops.

    The next town north (about another 9 miles) is Newtonstewart but its a lot smaller. You could go another 9 or 10 miles further to Strabane but it basically has the same variety of shops as Omagh.

    A further 12 miles or so will take you to Derry (Omagh to Derry = 45 -50 mins in car) where there are a couple of large shopping centres with ample parking and a retail park a couple of miles further out which has Homebase, Dixons, PC world etc.

    Depending on the direction you're coming from you could also consider Enniskillen.
