I am making the wedding cake for my brother-in-law. And hating it :) I love making cakes (used to make them to sell). I was looking forward to doing this cake as its been ages since I got to make a wedding cake. But after numerous changes of mind from the bride - which only served to remind me why I dont make wedding cakes…

I am making the wedding cake for my brother-in-law. And hating it

I love making cakes (used to make them to sell). I was looking forward to doing this cake as its been ages since I got to make a wedding cake.

But after numerous changes of mind from the bride - which only served to remind me why I dont make wedding cakes anymore - its now become a three tier cake with absolutly no decoration at all.

She is getting her florist to give her extra flowers to put on the cake. And she sent me a text this morning to say there would be a grand total of 3 flowers.

This cake is 50 cm high and 120 cm round at the base and three flowers are just not going to cut it !!

..... rant over !! .....

I just hope they dont tell anyone I had anything to do with this cake...
