Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Don't want to hijack other EP thread , but mods can merge thread if ya want , rest of my picnic on :-

I think the 2nd shot is brilliant. Have tried gig photography & gave it up 'cos the lighting is always crap & my hit rate has been tiiiiiiiny....

1st shot doesnt work for me b/c the face is invisible. The 2nd one is a bullseye - b/c you have face, eyeballs, expression, colour, focus, exposure & great background. I salute you!

Love both shots Barry, I had seen Public Enemy in Brixton many moons ago (80's) and your picture brings a great night back to life. Second shot is excellent, something really soothing (maybe) about it

Maybe the knowledge of the experience is influencing your view of the photo. The second one is a fantastic photo IMO while the first could have been taken by anyone at any gig.

Theres a real 3d element to the lead singer on the left, really nice. Cant decide if the drummer could be cropped out?

I only had my compact for this gig and was much further back and center. I've put a few up here:

Love the second one, really evocative with the clouds and the colour of her hair etc. Great shot well done!

The first one... we'll I was at the gig in EP too and the pic definitely captures the energy they put out. The noise is a pain and makes the image look like it was a smart phone snap, the blur would work to show the energy and action if it werent for the noise imho. Then it just looks, bad. :(
