Prices would depend on what you want installed.

The best place to look for an installer in your area is here as all installers need to be registered.
Make sure the installers come out and do a proper survey of your home and get a detailed list of what components they would be installing. The more quotes you get the better as you will be able to compare the benefits of each survey performed plus the pricing of the systems.

Take a look at the PSA register of licensed installers here.
    http://www.psa.gov.ie/Website/psa/psa.nsf/registervw

Pick at least 3 & insist on them calling out to give you an exact quote. (No suprises later)
Make sure your comparing like with like & be sure to get everything in writing whats covered.

Eg If getting monitoring & service , what's covered? Are call outs limited by time or number? If no maintenance how much are callouts later? Are there any additional time charges.
How much are extras? Wireless batteries etc.
Make a list of everything you need to know & get the same information from all & compare.
Any questions , you know where we are.;)
