Is that Andromeda i see ? I have never seen sky so clear living in Dublin all my life.

The IMF has really tilted south at the moment. If this keeps up and the clear skies stay there's a really good chance of the aurora tonight in Donegal at least. KP value is currently 4.

KP has gone up to 5 and on that aurora cam from Sweden it is amazing.
Has that chap Iancar gone up there this weekend? Good timing...

From spaceweather it looks like northern scotland will definitely have auroras, hard to know about northern ireland

Reports from the shetlands and as far south as Northumberlands so far

It looks like its kicking of shortly... KP value is around 5 at the moment but it looks like its projected to go higher so we might see something lower down the country too.... lucky old Iancar! talk about being in the right spot at the right time :D

Fantastic :) Wish the skies over Clare had been clear, although i don't think we would have seen anything anyway :( looking at space weather we could be in for another show tomorrow or Wed night.

Cloudy skies here last nite and by the time it cleared the kp dropped to 4 so nothing. Another big M9 class flare unleashed from the sun this morning so fingers crossed for tuesday/wednesday nights.
