DU Rifle Club News, August 2011
    NEWS:
DURC has had a busy summer so far and it's not over yet. In June, members of DURC went on a 'road trip' to the ISSF Rifle World Cup, Munich where a number of new Irish International records were set. Aisling Miller and David Franklin were Team Officials for the Irish National Shooting Team but were joined by other members and alumni of the club as spectators.

Trinity Sport & Trinity Haus held an air rifle grudge match in the range in July. For most of the competitors it was their first time trying out an Olympic shooting discipline. Trinity Sport were victorious in the end with some very good shooting on show despite all shooters competing without gear.

For all queries or if any other sports clubs or University departments would like to have their own grudge matches or team building events in the rifle club please contact us at rifle@tcd.ie
