I wonder what will move in to the space in the Queen's Old Castle - it's a huge space.

Heard it was going to be like a euro shop or something similar to poundland in uk! Don't know how true that is.

Would have to be a pretty big brand name, if thats the case me thinks. Sure the rates on that place alone would nearly be as large as the rent

Happy Birthday Nursemar88.. Have a great one :)

Does anyone know if that comic book store (I think it was a comicbook store) is still open upstairs in Paul Street shopping centre? I haven't been in there in years, and my inner geek has been calling out to me to invest in some more collectables :p
Or can anyone reccomend a store in the city, that sells similar type of stuff..
    Cheers

I really get the urge to change 'TO LET' to 'TOILET' everytime I see it. 'ZANZIBAR IS NOT TOILET' would be funny.

If you're getting the ladder out anyway you might as well bring a black sticker about as long as the 'not' with an 'A' on it.

I thought zanzibar has been around for ages so how did they end up in trouble?

    Prenderville has the whole story.

Synopsis, Bank does remedial work on its property which cracks the whole edifice from bottom to top.

Restaurant in dispute with bank, health inspectors shuts restaurant, repairs are made, restaurant part opens, bank does more work, restaurant falls down, health inspector closes restaurant, more repairs done by owner, restaurant part opens again AND while all this is going on, trade at restaurant stops, even when it's open for business.

new chapter, bank closed, owner hangs new signs out window .... :D

Totally stoked about this weekend. I'm in a new band that I setup with a few lads last year, and we've been rehearsing damn hard. We've done a few county gigs so far, but this weekend's my first gig in front of friends in Cork and really excited about it. Been in a lot of bands for years, one band gigging every weekend for 7 years, but this band's the first one I feel that everyone in the band's on the same page, giving 110% and genuinely talented - best of all, it's like playing with mates and having the bonus of getting a few quid at the end of the night.

    Bring it on!
