Haa haa, I'm moving to Kerry, we are allowed to have books there now. There was a referendum in '93.

Maybe even the reason they did the deal in the first place.

oh god - that place was really nice, their vodka was very good (had a white choclate one there - yum!).

TBH as venue / supplier you make very little from city deal offers but it generates awareness and gets foot traffic.

I'd say those deals are all about advertising, I can't imagine you'd make much if anything from them.
Sad to hear about another place closing.

there's a new cafe out on Western Road. I think it opened Thursday - I'd swear it wasn't there in the morning but when I walked back out the road in the evening it was open.

I think you're right. I reckon it's the dining room in the B&B. That was certainly there before, they did the whole place up last summer.

They've being doing up the whole B&B for a while. During the summer i use to get the bus from the stop across from it and they were mad painting and ripping stuff out.

Good luck to them i suppose. Can't be too easy opening up another cafe during these times. Will have to pop in tomorrow to get a cuppa and check it out.

Whoever took that pic should get some award for not showing the urban decay thats evident on all the run down houses in the area. Take a bow son.
