    Hi all, a little advice please if possible.
    How much approx would/could it cost to install GFCH in a 1800 sq ft house over 3 floors. Approx 7 rooms & 2 bathrooms. House has nothing at present. Also cost of re-wiring?

    Hi,

    I am getting a 1300 sq ft 2 story house rewired and re plumbed including GFCH.

    Plumbing and GFCH is costing €8100
    Rewiring is costing €10k

    I too had a plumber give me a rough quote of €8000 :eek:!!!!
    I nearly passed out!!

    I have just purchased an old council house 2 bed mid terrice
    The house needs complete new heating system including new boiler tank and 5 radiators.

    The house is already connected to gas for cooker only.

    Any one have a rough idea on a cost??

    Any help/advice is much appreciated

    you got one cost, why not get a couple more and compare:). or better yet get a spec done of what you want, use the BER explantory/suggestion sheet you got when purchasing the house to help.
