Well done to Kerry on winning there third title in a row. Watched the game and they had some very good players. I good point was made that they are now far too strong for this level yet would not be good enough for the Munster Championship, something should at least try to be done with is other wise they'll never move on if there still playing at B level

True but potentially at the top level of under 21 they may only get one game a year which wouldn't do them any good really so i think if they are eliminated by a big margin in the first game then perhaps they should be allowed back into the B championship for the sake of giving them games.

Don't forget Munster is normally very competitive at under 21 level and still goes under the prehistoric system which probably defined as to who were to become hurling and football counties respectively in the first place.

Its hard to know what to do with Counties like Kerry, Westmeath & Carlow at U-21 level.
Carlow were in the proper Leinster this year and lost to eventual AI runners up Dublin 4-12 to 0-12. Were not totally outclassed and just got unlucky with the draw. Prob would have ran most other Leinster teams close and even beaten a couple of them.

Antrim in AI semi got hammered by Dublin, anyone in Leinster and Kerry wud have given them a tougher game.

Have to bring Galway & Antrim into Leinster at 21s too.

Need to bring in a prelim round with Kerry, Westmeath, Carlow, Antrim....2 winners go through to play Laois/Offaly. 2 winners then go into leinster qf v 2 of Dub/Kilk/Wex/Galway.
2 of these 4 (maybe the 2 finalists from yr before) are put into semis.

The prelim round losers & 1st round losers go to All Ire B.

Sounds like a good idea it would give the players more games instead of just 2 games a year
