What should happen to the Ard Ri hotel site?

    There is a stunning view of the suir river and the city quay from the hill that hosts the old Ard Ri site. Question is what should be put in its place. Personally I think it should be returned to a green area, perhaps with a open car park for people to enjoy the views it offers, For an example it hosted the fire works display during the Tall ships, something that could not have happened if the area was populated. It would be devastating to see it returned to developers and host expensive homes for the rich as was planned. The country trough NAMA ownes this site, hope someone sees some sense.
