Carpet kicker

Hi all, Does anyone know where to but a carpet kicker? I'm thinking of just making one for the few times a year I'd need it. Have been looking at done you tube videos, I assume you put the plate with the spikes onto of tge gripper bar, so not only is it forcing it towards the wall,, it's also pushing down in it too.
