Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Okay, i have a renault clio that won't start, i am presuming this is an electrical problem.( i have charged the battery but not even a light on the dash & battery is relatively new).
    Possibly an alternator?
also the car has been lying up for 6 months.
    anybody have any ideas?

    thanks:)

Check to see how many volts the battery has with a meter...it could be done and not able to take the charge.

Borrow a working battery and see if any light comes up on dashboard. Its nothing to do with fuel or alternator btw.

Looks like your battery is not holding a charge, as stated put a known good battery in to test it and I am fairly certain it will start up.

It doesn't sound like it's fully charged to me. Borrow a battery that you know is good or get someone with jump leads to see if it will start on a jump , or get someone to give you a push start before doing anything else. It does sound like a battery problem.

It started on a jump about three months ago?
