Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Got a link?

You could open the htm file in browser, copy the text and paste that into the WordPress Edit Post screen. It will work for text but not pictures.

    I am very confused.
Can you provide urls to explain it?

Ok so I'm guessing you are updatin the .htm file automatically from another site or other software

Pretty easy to do, it will NOT however update the page in wordpress so to speak and subseqentially I dont think the search engines will reflect the content as updated. BUT it will display the contents from it.

Simple Solution: use an Iframe and embed the .htm url.

If I understand correctly, I think what you need to do is paste the html for the page into the HTML editor tab of the New Page in WordPress.

From what he posted it looks to me like the HTM file is being written automatically (from somewhere) and he wants the wordpress post/page updated with its contents updated automatically as well ?

I think you are right and your iframe suggestion is a good one.
