Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Generally not, you'll be allowed something like three windscreen claims in a year. Having said that, refer to your policy and give them a call to confirm, usually the insurer will refer you to a particular repair company. Do get it repaired asap, the longer you leave it the less effective repairs can be.

If your policy states, that windscreen claims won't affect your NCB, then it means you won't loose you no claims bonus.

However, when you will be renewing policy they will send your NCB certificate, and it will show that you had a windscreen claim.
If then you decide to swap insurer, new insurer might have different rules, and treat windscreen claims the same as any other claim (especially if you will be moving abroad, and it will be foreign insurer).

It will be in the terms and conditions of your insurance policy or check with your insurance company.

Generally you can make x number of windscreen claims in a set period of time before it effects your NCB but it depends on your insurance company. Insurance companies also do deals with certain windscreen replacement companies so again you need to check your policy as to who is the prefered company your insurance company want you to use. Using a non prefered company may result in the insurance company only partically covering the cost or none at all.

Again all this information is in your policy documents and answers on an internet forum are only speculation.

I've had two replaced with Quinn on a TPFT policy with windscreen cover, neither had an effect.
