Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

precautions while walking from farm to farm?

What precautions should I be taking when I regularly walk from one farm to another in my neighbourhood. In one farm I would pet the animals (calves from a dairy herd) and the other not so much but we bought our site off the cattle farmer so obviously close to it too. I don't want to be passing on "stuff" from one farm to another but would still like tombe able to walk my dog.
Any suggestions welcome. I suppose I want to make the effort without them maybe telling me in the future.
    Cheers for your help

While I am used of walking between two lands we own, I learned three very important things whilst working with a vet.
    1) Separate herds/herdlands need to have clean boots/wellys to avoid dirt contamination.
    2) No contact/contact animals (i.e. you're not supposed to let animals touch you on on farm and then go to another)
    3) No dog/cat/anything to run/be through cattle and then go through to other land.
Anyone else fee free to change or add, this is just what I do, along with other things.

It makes common sense but just in case I was missing something.
